  2. I shot this video about a year ago with the Taiwanese hip-hop band MJ116 on their first visit to New York City and months later found out it was released. They spoke very little English, and I, zero Mandarin ,so we sort of wandered around and laughed a lot. Really sweet and generous guys..

    We ate pizza, one of them got a tattoo in East Village, we almost got arrested in Brooklyn while shooting, then walked across the Manhattan Bridge at sunset to eat a huge dinner in Chinatown. Not bad for the language barrier, limited time, and no resources.

    All I know is the song is called “Beats Myself and I” and I believe Red Bull has something to do with the production, but I cannot translate the details.

  9. I shot Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires for Northside Festival at House of Vans and it was one of the most inspiring shows I’ve ever seen. Love Charles Bradley!
